Formalities. Lots of formalities. Like sitting and standing straight at all times- perfect posture! It was hard being the tallest person in any given room you entered, but when you were chided for slouching, just trying to look a little shorter, it was even worse. A full head taller(even more, sometimes) than most everybody around, Lu nibbling his lip as he waited for the ceremony to end. He could feel the stares of servants all around him, it took all of Lu's willpower not to look away. The welcoming ceremonies when they visited other kingdoms were boring and always the same; he was the third child anyway, it wasn't like he had anything to do except look like he should be there.

After the ceremony, Lu was free to return to the room that'd so graciously been provided for him; of course, each member of his family, aside from his parents, was given their own luxurious room. It was only natural for royalty. As the third child, Lu didn't have to worry much about someone trying to wed him to some princess; his older brother took that responsibility. On the other hand, he tended to be quite ignored in favour of his more...valuable older siblings. So when after a while lurking in the room lent to him, Lu peeked his head out the door and wandered off on his own. If he was lucky, he'd be able to find his way outdoors to the garden.

Lu realized after twenty minutes of wandering that he couldn't even find the staircase that would get him off the 4th story of the Dubois Castle. He avoided eye contact with all the maids and servants he passed, hoping they'd think him just out for a stroll... he didn't need it getting out he'd gotten lost in a castle, again... what a way to represent his family, he thought, looking longingly out a window at the well kept garden far below.

Dull, dull, dull, dull, dull, dull, DULL!

Andre could not stand to sit through ceremonies. They were tedious and took far too long for his liking. What did he care if people were visiting the castle? There were always people visiting the castle for heaven's sake! Why should he care if the Deller family was here? It's not as if he was marrying any of them. They were all dull!

Except...for the youngest.

Creeping up behind the tall male, Andre cleared his throat to catch his attention (and hopefully scare him). "Is there something the matter?" He asked, his tone practically dripping sweetness. "You've been wandering around the fourth floor for quite some time now." He smiled, or more, bared his teeth.
